These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of CT Academy's website, courses, community, and related services. By accessing or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Questions? Contact us at [email protected].
1. Eligibility
Our services are intended for adults (18 years of age or older) with a professional or personal interest in accounting, bookkeeping, or crypto tax. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Course Access and Licence
Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to access and view course content for your own professional development. This licence does not permit:
- Sharing your account credentials with any other person
- Reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying course content
- Using course content for commercial training of others without written permission from CT Academy
- Recording, screenshotting, or extracting course materials for redistribution
Presale purchasers receive lifetime access to the courses included in the presale offer as described at the time of purchase. CT Academy reserves the right to modify course content to maintain accuracy and relevance.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely through Stripe and/or PayPal. By completing a purchase, you authorize CT Academy to charge the applicable amount through your chosen payment method. CT Academy reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.
4. Refund Policy
CT Academy offers a 7-day refund policy on course purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the original purchase date by contacting [email protected] with your order details.
Refunds are not available after the 7-day period has passed, or where more than 50% of course content has been consumed. Presale purchases are subject to the same 7-day refund window from the date of the presale transaction.
5. Community Standards
Access to the CT Academy professional community is included with certain course purchases. By participating, you agree to:
- Engage respectfully with other members and CT Academy staff
- Not share confidential client information in community posts
- Not use the community for commercial solicitation or promotion of competing products
- Not post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful
CT Academy reserves the right to remove community access for any member who violates these standards, without refund.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
CT Academy's courses teach crypto bookkeeping workflows and are designed for educational purposes. Nothing in CT Academy's course content constitutes legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or financial advice. Students are responsible for verifying that their professional work complies with applicable laws and professional standards in their jurisdiction.
CT Academy provides its services on an "as is" basis. Crypto tax regulations are evolving — CT Academy makes reasonable efforts to keep content current but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most recent regulatory developments.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CT Academy and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. CT Academy's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course or service giving rise to the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All CT Academy course content, scripts, materials, branding, and associated intellectual property are owned by CT Academy and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the personal licence described in Section 2.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Manitoba, Canada, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
CT Academy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify active users by email. Continued use of our services after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
